Sally's eyes slowly blinked open, and immediately, she knew something was wrong. Or perhaps not wrong, just different. Changed. Or maybe it was simply a combination of the two.
Looking down at herself, she gasped, seeing that something certainly was different. The blusish, stitched-together skin that she was used to seeing was replaced by pale skin. Her clothes were still the same, though, same patchwork dress, same slouchy striped socks and petite shoes. But everything else about her felt different.
Slowly she got to her feet. She was no longer in Oogie's chamber (thankfully) but Santa-who had been trapped with her-was nowhere to be seen. Looking around at her surroundings, she say she wasn't in Halloweentown at all now. Through the trees, though, she could see a small, quiet town, all light up in the darkness of the early evening. She made her way towards it, hoping someone within the town could explain.

Miguel had woken up just hour before Sally had. He was very bewildered as well. Last thing he remember was being in the city of gold with Tulio and Chel. Now he was lost in a sunless world. He had been wandering through out the village just for anyone that he could ask for help. Everyone he saw seem so untrusting.
The young spanish man contunied on his way through the dark streets of the even darker village. The bright thing was Miguel's hope.
Miguel sighed as he kept walking along. That was till he caught sight of red head girl around his age. She look just as lost and bewildered as he felt. She could help him. They could help each other. Would be better then being alone. He thought. He walks over to her and smiles softly at her.
"Hello Ms. I am Miguel" Miguel says to her as gentle as he could sound. He didn't want to frighten her away. " I don't mean to bother you. It is just I am lost and unsure of how I got here... I was wondering..." he says and contuines on saying. "No hopeing if you could help. Please and thank you Ms.".

Just as she had stepped into the streets of the sleepy little town, Sally found herself face to face with a young man, perhaps right around her age. She watched him approach with uncertainty, and as he drew closer, she studied his face, hoping that he'd looked somewhat familiar, some denizen of Halloweentown that had been transformed like her.
But he wasn't. Or at least, he didn't seem to be. He didn't resemble any of the vampires, or the other monsters, the band. Certainly not Jack, either. She sighed. Perhaps she was alone here, the only one who'd been transported to this odd new world.
The man soon introduced himself as Miguel. It wasn't a name heard often in Halloweentown; she knew it to be from the Human World, where Jack had gone to deliver presents. Could that be where she was?
"You're lost too?" She asked softly, a bit disappointed. Perhaps everyone within the town was. But how long had Miguel been there she wondered. "I'm afraid I can't help you," She said, her voice still soft and gentle, "I've only just gotten here myself, I'm afraid, and I have no idea how or why..."

"I am as well" Miguel tells her. " Maybe if we work together that way we could find something or someone that could help us".
Miguel wouldn't admit it out loud that he for once was bit worried. He didn't want to hold on to that too much. He had to hold onto hope. Hope was all he had left. He didn't plan on losing his hope at all.
"May I ask your name Ms?" he asked and smiled warmly at her.
There for sure was something very different about her. She seem so different to the young spanish man. He wasn't sure why that was. He put that wonder aside. Now he and her just need find out why and where they were.

Sally was surprised that he was turning to her for help. She was used to being at the edge of a crowd, largely overlooked by the other denizens of Halloweentown-not being asked to help out, except by Jack.
But it would be rude to outright reject the man's-Miguel's-help, not to mention foolish. They were both after the same thing it seemed-answers-and so it only made sense for the two of them to try and work together to find them. What could the harm in it be, anyway? He seemed quote friendly after, more outgoing than Sally could hope to be. He seemed like he'd have an easier time talking to other people than she would.
"I'm Sally," She said, extending on small hand out to him for him to shake, "And yes, perhaps we should be working together. I'm just not even sure where we should begin." It had occurred to her that they might not be the only ones lost around there.

Rafiki had been conscious for only an hour or more, but he had discovered a big change to both himself and his surroundings. He was no longer a baboon, he was a human. His fur and crooked tail were no more. His skin was a deep brown and his hair was white-blonde. One thing was the same, he still had his golden yellow eyes and his staff, what would he do without it. His staff was both a weapon and helped with some shaman rituals. He clutched it close to his new body, and looked around.
The tall savannah grass was gone, the blistering sun was no longer there to beat down on the land, and the familiar scent of fresh fruit was gone. Rafiki could no longer hear the trumpeting of the elephants or the grunts from the rhinos. It had all been replaced by a dark, unforgiven Kingdom. There was no sun, yet he could still feel a slight sun-like warmth. Running a hand through his hair, he continued to investigate this new territory.
Who would be so ruthless as to bring him here? Where there others here like himself? Questions chased each other through his mind, it was giving him a headache. Rafiki shook his head and remembered the words to a little tune he had sung to Simba once. “Asante sana, squash banana. We we nugu, mi mi apana.” He chanted the words softly to himself as he walked towards a small town.

"Well Sally Its very nice to meet you" Miguel tells her. He smiled gently as he shaked her hand as he greeted her.
He then thinks for few momments. "Well we could walk around to see if we can find anyone else who is or appears to be as lost as we are."he suggest to her. He then contuines to say " We would be safer in group then alone" He nods, his head.
He offers her his arms in gentlemen like way so the pair of them could walk off to start thier search.
That was when the young blonde man saw another man who appear be bit older then they were. He was speaking few words that Miguel wasn't sure what they meant. He did seem as lost and bewildered as he and Sally were.
" Look maybe he is lost too? Shall we go ask him?" Miguel asked Sally.

Rafiki continued to chant the words. They were familiar and helped him remember home. He continued through the small town, passing houses and other buildings. There didn't seem to be anyone else here. “Asante sana, squash banana, we we nugu, mi mi ap-” He stopped his chanting when he caught sight of two others. One was female. She was pale, unlike himself and had red hair, an uncommon sight in the Pride Lands. The other was male. He had blonde hair a few shades darker then his own, and it fell to about chin length. Both looked a few years younger then him, but they also looked as lost as him so he approached them.
“Jambo.” When they didn't seem to understand he tried again, in English. “Hello, I am Rafiki. You don't speak Swahili do you? May I ask your names?” He shared a friendly glance with each of them.

The last thing Spirit could remember was running. Running free through the fields without a care. A fog began to settle over everything, and the other horses began to disappear. He tried calling out to them, but all he could hear was the echo of his nervous neigh. He could no longer feel the ground beneath his thundering hooves. He let loose a wild, frightened noise that rang through his head as he sank deep into unconsciousness.
“What happened?” He flinched at the sound of his voice. “What happened to me?” He looked down, he was human. His tan coat had been replaced by tanned skin and his hooves were now hands and feet. He reached up and stretched his arm as far as it would go, opening and closing his hand. He ran his hand through his hair, it was slick and messy, like his mane except shorter. He let his hand fall to his side. Looking around, he realized that he had no idea where he was. He tried to stand, but he wasn't use to standing on only two legs. Stumbling and a little wobbly, he slowly made his way to what looked like a town.
When he got there, he was a little more confident in walking like this. He was still running his hand on walls for support, but he wasn't stumbling as often. He came to an open area, with nothing to hold. Taking a deep breath, he started the slow walk across. He made it half way before he tripped on a raised part of the ground. He put his hands out to stop himself from hitting the ground. Crack! Spirit cried out in pain as his wrist twisted at an odd angle. He fell to the ground, clutching his wrist. It was starting to turn purple. He stayed where he was, not knowing what to do.

Sally gave Miguel a quick nod. It would be best, she was sure, to stick with a friendly face, as he suggested. A light blush colored her cheeks as he offered out his arm-a chivalrous gesture she wasn't used to-taking hold of the crook of his arm before her eyes trailed to the man he'd spotted. She was about to agree that they should speak to him, when he made the first move, approaching him.
He spoke a word first that she supposed was a greeting-but it was in no language she understood. He identified it as Swahili, and Sally wondered for a moment if it was a common language there.
"My name is Sally," She told him, offering up a friendly smile, and about to offer her free hand as well, when she heard a cry of pain. Looking over in the direction of the sound, she was quick to spot its source-a man on the ground, clutching his wrist. "Excuse me," She muttered quickly and quietly, hurrying over to him.
"Sir?" She asked gently, kneeling besides him, "Are you alright? What happened?"

"I am Miguel" Miguel tells Rafiki in his thick Spanish accent. " Yes we are lost as well. We thought maybe if we work as group it would be better that way". He smiled warmly at him. "What do you say?" he asked kindly.
He then glances over at Sally and the new man. Who appeared to have hurt himself. " I will be back Rafiki" He says and starts over to Sally and the new man. He smiled gently down at him." Sir can we be of help?" he asked him kindly.

Spirit was shocked to see that he was not alone. He looked at the young woman first. “I was trying to walk, and I tripped.” As he finished his sentence, he looked down, embarrassed that he had done something so stupid. “I'm just not use to walking like this. I used to be a horse, so this is kind of new to me.” He tried to move his wrist, but a sharp pain caused him to stop. “I think I broke it.” Looking at his wrist, Spirit could see that it was bruised and painful to touch. “Either of you know how to fix it?” He asked Miguel and Sally. He wasn't use to humans being so kind, except for maybe one or two like Little Creek, but this seemed different. But then again, he was also a human now.

Rafiki thought the two seemed quite friendly. He looked over to where both Sally and Miguel had gone, and saw a man on the ground. He came over and stood beside Sally. Rafiki looked the man up and down looking for the cause of his pain, when he saw his wrist. It looked indeed like it was broken. “May I help? I'm no doctor but I do know a thing or two about healing.” He knelt down and gently took hold of the man's wrist, he held his staff in the other hand. Closing his eyes, he felt the connection with the Great Kings. Focusing on that he chanted a few words in Swahili that made up a healing chant. When he was finished, the bruises had gone down a little. “That should work for now.” He was a little tired. Connecting with the Kings had used more energy then he had expected, it must be from this wicked place. He stood up and leaned against a building waiting for the feeling to pass.

The young red head girl just came out from behind the building. She had woken nearly a hour ago. Lost and frighten; she didn't know where she was. Or even how she gotten here. Last she remember was being on the ship about to marry Prince Eric.
Then she woke up here in sunless world. She glances up with wide worried eyes. She sees Three young men and one young women. Who like herself had red hair. Ariel studies the humans and could tell that they seem friendly enough. She walks over in shy manner.
She searchs her head for words to say to them. She finds her voice and speaks. " Hello..."She says shyly. She never felt this shy before.

Rafiki looked around for the source of the voice. He found a young girl with red hair, like Sally's. “he closes the space between them, “Hello miss. I am Rafiki. This is Miguel,” he gestured to Miguel. “This is Sally, and this is Spirit.” He gestured to each in turn. “What would your name be?” She was young, she appeared to be about 19. Her hair was a bright shade of red, Rafiki had never seen hair of this colour. She also seemed to be quite shy and scared. “Do not be afraid, miss. We will cause you no harm, we are as lost as you are.”
Rafiki came back towards Spirit to check his wrist. It seemed to be healing nicely which was a good thing. It meant that Rafiki hadn't lost his ability to connect with the Great Kings when he arrived here.
