“It’s a long story,” Itchy replied to Aladdin. A long story that he was just glad was over. He had been so panicked about Carface coming to find them when they had been with Anne Marie, but now everything was back to the way it normally was again without either of them in the picture. He looked grateful when Charlie slowed down for him to catch up. “Sorry; short legs…” he muttered as he finally caught up with him.
