apperance;; Sally has a petite, somewhat waifish build, with only a hint of feminine curves. Her face is very round, with very large brown eyes and a long neck. Her hair is a deep auburn color, reaching down to her lower back. In her original form, Sally's skin is a pale shade of blue, with multiple stitches at her joints, on her neck and chest, and at the corner of her lips forming a Glasgow grin. In her human form, her skin is quite pale, and free of any marks that might resemble her stitches. Her clothing remains the same-a patchwork dress with black shoes and slouchy striped socks.
personality;; Sally is, in her own words, restless. She has a constant curiosity with the world around her-one that Dr. Finkelstein did his best to squash, with no success. She had long desired something better in her life, and soon enough found ways to escape. Having to trick Finkelstein whenever she wanted to leave lead to her develop good problem solving skills, and she is among the most clever denizens of Halloweentown. The more she learned about the world around her, the more she wanted to know, her curiosity growing more and more. Out in the world, Sally is quite shy, certainly not used to crowd and avoiding them if they can. At times, she can have the worst time trying to get someone's attention, often overlooked for others.
Sally's skills mainly deal with domestic matters. Much of her time as Finkelstein's servant consisted of cooking for him, and sewing her own clothes (and on occassion, sewing herself back up), and as such, she's gotten fairly confident in both skills. She has also accrued a decent knowledge of plants-both what she heard from the doctor's experiments and read from books in the lab, and what she learned by trial and error. She's learned disguise certain flavors and scents with others, quite handy for her as she'd often drug the doctor. Still, she has a certain maternal instinct about her, seeking to take care of the others around her and make sure they're out of harms way. She will always stick to what she believes is best and try to make things right, even if it means potentially putting herself into danger.
family;; Dr. Finkelstien - Creator
history;;Sally was not born in the traditional sense, but rather created by a scientist named Doctor Finkelstein, stitched together out of scraps of fabric and bits of skin, and stuffed with dead leaves. Though she was intended as a companion for the doctor, she soon found herself dissatisified with life under his thumb. After a bit of experimentation of her own, she learned just how to get out of Finkelstien's home alone, if only for a short while, slipping nightshade into his tea or soup to put him to sleep. Still, she always found herself returning, for one reason or the next. The one bright spot she found was Jack, the pumpkin king of Halloweentown and a friend of Dr. Finkelstein. She got to know him during his occasional visits to the scientist, and soon came to view him as a friend, eventually developing a crush on the pumpkin king.
Life in Halloweentown was fairly static, with most of the residents focused on preparing for the next year's celebration. Things changed quite suddenly when, after the most recent celebration, Jack stumbled into another world. He returned raving about this "Christmas", and it was decided that they would take it over for "Sandy Claws". Sally had reservation from the start, and tried to warn Jack. After the town meeting, however, she was locked into her room by Dr. Finkelstein for disobeying him once more and sneaking out again. She escaped by jumping out of the window-her unique body allowing her to survive the fall, though she had to stitch herself back together afterwards. She saw to it that Jack had something to eat while preforming his obsessive experiments on Christmas, and shortly afterward had a horrible vision-a Christmas tree, bursting into flames. She tried desperately to warn Jack, who wrote off her concerns, asking her to sew together his own Santa outfit. She agreed to, a bit reluctantly, and asked him one last time to reconsider, before he left on his flight, though again, he chose to go forward with his plans.
Still worried, Sally set out to free Santa Claus from Oogie Boogie's clutches, the final thing she recalls before winding up in the Wicked Kingdom.
And will we ever end up together?
No, I think not, it's never to become
For I am not the one
No, I think not, it's never to become
For I am not the one
