Hiccup turned over in his sleep and muttered something as an unexpected cold wind blew around him and ruffled his shaggy hair. He reached out his arm as if looking for a blanket near him, still half asleep. “Ok, who left the door open? Toothless?” The boy drowsily blinked open his eyes and sat up and stretched, then froze in shock as he realized he was lying on the leaf-strewn ground in what appeared to be a forest. “Well, this isn’t my bedroom…" Hiccup observed, and then seemed to relax slightly as a realization suddenly dawned on him. "Ha ha, very funny you guys. You can all come out now, you got me,” he said as he casually stood up, dusted the leaves and dirt off of his clothes and then placed his helmet on his head. He strolled over to the nearest bushes and tree trunks and glanced around them, expecting to see Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut hiding there and more than likely laughing at his expense. “Seriously you guys, I’m all for pranking as much as the next Viking, but…come on. Can’t anyone get sleep around here?” His tone was still sarcastic, but after several long moments of unnatural silence and no sign of anyone, he began feeling a bit nervous. Something wasn’t right, and this forest didn't look anything like Berk and the wilderness he was used to.
“Toothless? Are you here, bud?” Hiccup called out, peering around at the bases of the trees and through the undergrowth. He couldn't see any sign of the midnight-black dragon nearby. Where had he gone? Where had everyone gone? “Well, this doesn’t look too good,” he stated his thoughts out loud with a sigh, more to himself to keep him from suddenly panicking.

" Do you always speak to yourself? " Iago spat at the young man. He was sitting up on high branch of tree just above Hiccup. "And Another thing! What kind of name is Toothless?! Don't you know how name anyone? News flash bub! That ain't a bloodly name!!".
He knew maybe he wasn't being what Princess Jasmine claim wasn't kind. What did she know? He ruffles his feathers slightly and glares slightly. He wasn't truely annoyed at the boy. He was lost himself and he hated the feeling being lost and helpless.
He flew down and lands on Hiccup's shoulder. " Okay so I will try this nice thing the Princess talk abouts"he says." Names Iago... And dear tell what do they call you?" he asked the boy.

"AH!" Hiccup stumbled back in surprise at the sudden loud voice and then spun around, searching for the person who was speaking. After looking up and realizing that it was a bird talking to him from a branch, he stared at Iago dumbfounded for a few seconds, unable to believe what he was seeing. “You are a bird… and you can talk!” That's definitely weird, Hiccup thought to himself with a stunned blink. Did I hit my head last night and am imagining things now? Or maybe I'm still asleep. That would explain a few things… As far as he was aware of, Birds didn’t usually talk around Berk, and he couldn't think of any good reason as to why he was suddenly in the middle of a strange place.
“Er- my name is Hiccup, and Toothless is my dragon, who I can’t seem to find at the moment… ” Hiccup hesitantly replied to Iago after the bird had landed on his shoulder. “Ok, so maybe it isn’t the best name in the world, but Vikings aren’t exactly known for their amazing naming abilities,” He shrugged slightly. It was a better name than ‘Snotlout’ anyway.

" Yea or they too lazy" Iago spat. He clams himself. If he was to gain help he would have to learn to contorl his mouth. He was finding it harder then it seem.
Iago looks at him again. This kid was sure strange even more so then Aladdin. Yet Aladdin was older then him but not by much.
"I tell you what kid, I will so greatfuly help you find this Toothless only if you help me too" Iago says to him. He reaches out his long red wing." Do we have deal or what?" he asked.

“Alright, sure; we have a deal.” Hiccup replied and reached out his hand to shake the bird’s wing. He definitely wouldn’t mind having assistance, especially since he had no idea what was going on at the moment. If he went off on his own to search for Toothless then he could very well be wandering around lost in the wilderness for days and not see any sign of him or anyone else.
“But- what do you need help with exactly?” Hiccup asked him, “…And where are we anyway?” Maybe Iago would know this place better than he did, or at least he was hoping he would. It wasn’t comforting to know that he was in a place he knew absolutely nothing about, not even from a rough drawing on a map.

Iago who was now sitting on Hiccup's shoulder. " I am looking for the Princess and Aladdin and that darn monkey and a genie and flyin rug" Iago spat out as he explain to the young man.
Iago glances around the dark woods that was all around them. It was sure different then the sand for that matter.
Iago looks at Hiccup again." Like you kid I dont even know where we are! If I did"he stops himself before he could insult his only way home. " We just need work together like that darn princess always says".

Hiccup blinked. A princess? And a monkey, genie and a flying rug? Now he really was beginning to wonder if he had hit his head last night. It was an odd list of things to be looking for, that was for sure, but then again there had been a lot of strange things happening lately. “Er- ok then, I’ll keep my eyes open for anyone, and also any monkeys and flying furniture,” the boy replied with a nod. As he looked around at the trees and wondered where they should start, he was a bit dismayed to hear that Iago didn't know where they were either. Searching for their friends was going to be a lot harder now that they didn't even know where they were themselves. They were probably going to have to wander around just to find their way out of this place, if they even could.
Hiccup started to walk forward between two of the trees and glanced around, trying to see if he could spot a way out of the strange forest they were in. “I wonder if there are any villages around here? They might not be that far away. I don't know about genies or flying rugs and monkeys, but there might be people there. Maybe the Princess and Aladdin?” Hiccup said. He honestly hoped that Toothless had stayed away from the villages if there were any; civilians and dragons didn't seem to be a good combination, and if there were people around here that weren't from his village, they would probably be more than alarmed. Maybe someone had seen a dragon though? That could lead him in the right direction at least. They might have seen the people Iago was looking for too.

"Yea maybe" Iago comments. As he rode along on the young Lad's right shoulder." Least find something we can eat too! I'm straved!".
It was just like the bird to be thinking of himself before anyone or anything else. He did want to find his friends and get back home. Being in this dark place remind him of his old life a life he didn't want to relive.

“Good plan,” Hiccup replied, suddenly realizing that he hadn’t eaten since yesterday and was starting to get hungry as well. Food didn’t seem like a bad idea, and they would need it anyway. “Now to find a village. Shouldn’t be too hard…” As he walked he continued to try to peer around the large tree trunks ahead, hoping they would see houses somewhere or some sort of cleared path through the forest. All he could see were more tree trunks and bushes, however, extending to who knows how far. There had to be people somewhere nearby. He paused after he had passed about the thirtieth tree trunk and still couldn’t see anything. “Or, maybe not… Do you think you could fly up there and see if you can see anything?” Hiccup asked Iago, gesturing towards the treetops. It would probably be easier that way than trying to look from the ground.

"Yea What I do best" Iago brags. He then flew up to the top of the trees. He rests on the hightest branch.
He scans the woods from above. All he could see what trees and more trees. He was really starting to dislike trees. He grumbles as he keeps looking around.
"Darn Trees" The small parrot mutters in annoyed tone.
With sigh he flew back down towards the teenage boy. He lands on his shoulder. " Just nothing but trees and more TREES for all to see" he grunts.

“Oh great, I was afraid you were going to say that.” Hiccup sighed and ran a hand through his hair. That figured; finding a village nearby had certainly sounded too easy. What could they do to get a bit of luck around here? “Well, I’m out of ideas at the moment, unless we just want to keep wandering around and hope we stumble across something.” It wasn’t necessarily a bright thought, but hey, what else were they supposed to do? He didn’t favor sitting around here all day long.
“I would have thought there would be someone around nearby, or how else would we have been sent here in the first place? I don’t think I would just sleep-walk miles out into the middle of nowhere,” He thought out loud, puzzled. It definitely was strange the way they had ended up here, when they couldn't find anything but trees around them. They couldn't have just magically appeared, so what exactly was going on?

"Well ain't this just peaches" Igao grumbled. He sighed as he lands on the young lad's shoulder." Well buck-o lets get going. I hate staying here all day. We won't get anywhere if we don't move" He states truthfully.
Iago wasn't a happy guy at all when he was lost and most of all hungry. Iago knew he would have work with this kid if he was get out of here.
