Powerful storms, unusual weather conditions, and other strange happenings are popping up sporadically across the regions; many times accompanying or preceding supposed sightings of legendary pokemon. There have also been rumors that it seems like some of the criminal syndicates are growing in number and preparing something big, but nobody has really been able to confirm any of these just yet. All of it is just gossip flying back and forth in an effort to explain the strange things going on, so people are left to wonder...Why are these things happening? Are the legendaries displeased, is something wrong with them or the world, are any or perhaps all of the criminal organizations somehow at fault? Nobody knows the answer for sure, though everybody seems to have their own theories they subscribe to. Some even seek out the answers to either share them with the world and/or try to find a way to stop these chaotic events from growing worse and more frequent. But, for the most part, the people of the various regions are simply going about their lives, wondering what is just around the corner, and hoping the time in-between these events is not the eye of a huge, chaotic calamity the likes of which few are prepared to deal with.
Chroma is a freeform/statless Pokemon rp set in a combination of the anime and game universes. Both canon and oc characters are welcomed with open arms, canon players are allowed to choose whether to play their canons from the game or anime universe,( or even combine them), and explore multiple possibilities for their characters. The site is also a complete AU; none of the criminal groups have been toppled or come even close to being destroyed just yet and are all still going strong, seeking their individual goals. None of the young protagonist characters have shaken up the elite four or region champions yet either, and the forum features places and events from both the anime and game universes. At Chroma, we want to allow the members and their characters to help shape the plot and where it grows, so our members do have a lot of say in what goes on and we're brand spanking new, so check us out if you're interested. :3 Also, don't be afraid to ask any questions!
